New Website Design

Frank Kern is a candidate for city council in Brisbane, California, just south of San Francisco, with the election on November 4, 2024. I wish I could vote for Frank; I’ve known him for many years as a co-worker and a friend, but I’m not a citizen of Brisbane, I can’t cast a vote in his favor. But I had the pleasure to do the next best thing: I designed and built his candidate website!

Frank Kern for Brisbane is a simple and straightforward site. I used the logo, colors and fonts he’d developed for his other marketing material, and created some graphics to help bring attention to the text portions of the site. The website gives Frank’s political campaign the professionalism he needed to confirm he is a strong, smart and capable candidate. It displays key information his constituents need to know more about him: About, Endorsementss from other Brisbane citizens, and photos of him performing various civic duties.

Squarepsace was the perfect choice as a candidate website platform due to its professional design capabilities, and the ease of having all technology - web platform, web hosting and domain hosting - all under one roof. Also critical was ease of use: Frank wanted to be able to update his site on his own quickly and easily.
